1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in the parish of St. Thomas where the successive Vicars here lived for many years past. The Vicarage House was destroyed in the civil war. No Lecturer.

2. Other benefices: No.

3. Divine service at other churches: No.

4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed twice every Lords day with a Sermon in the morning unless postponed for some particular reason.

5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lords Supper is administered six or seven times in every year viz. on the three great Festivals soon after Michaelmas on the first Sunday in Lent and on one or two Sundays between Whitsunday & Michaelmas. The number of Communicants about seventy.

6. Catechising of children: In Lent.

7. Church fabric: The Church is furnished with all things decent for divine Service and kept (together with the Chancel & Church yard in good Repair.

8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

9. Number of families: About three hundred.

10. Chapels: There are the Ruins of a Chapel in a hamlet called Oldridge belonging to the parish of St. Thomas about the distance of six miles from ye parish Church.

11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are but few Papists in the parish I know but of one family. No Meeting-House, many Dissenters of various denominations.

12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No publick School nor Library - some Legacies have been left for the Education of Children which are duly paid and applied.

13. Charity: Some Benefactions have been left to the parish which are properly disposed of every Year.

    Priest's orders and institution: Chr. Churchill, Vicar of St. Thomas near Exeter was ordained Priest on Sunday the 23^d day of September 1744 & instituted Vicar of St. Thomas the 26^th day of January 1749.
